Description
The HA-RRC Radio Receiver Controller is a Pilot Controlled Lighting (PCL) system that improves the safety and efficiency of airports, helidecks, and heliports. Pilots can easily control lighting remotely by transmitting a coded radio signal. This system allows for quick adjustments during takeoff, landing, and other operations.
The system adjusts light intensity based on the number of pulses sent by the pilot:
- 3 pulses: Activates low-intensity lighting.
- 5 pulses: Activates medium-intensity lighting.
- 7 pulses: Activates high-intensity lighting.
Once activated, the lights stay on for 15 minutes and automatically turn off after 15 minutes without a radio signal. This feature promotes energy efficiency and reduces the need for manual control.
The HA-RRC Radio Receiver Controller operates on a factory-set frequency of 123.450 MHz, with the option to request different frequencies. An optional outdoor antenna is available when the junction box is installed indoors, ensuring optimal signal reception.
Key features:
- Pilot-Controlled Lighting (PCL) system: Pilots remotely control lighting via a coded radio signal.
- Adjustable light intensity: Set lighting at low, medium, or high intensity with 3, 5, or 7 pulses.
- Automatic shutdown: Lights turn off 15 minutes after the last signal, saving energy.
- Factory-set frequency: Operates at 123.450 MHz, with other frequencies available on request.
- Optional outdoor antenna: Ensures optimal signal reception when the junction box is indoors.
The HA-RRC Radio Receiver Controller provides a reliable and easy-to-use solution for modern aviation lighting needs.
